Choose a daily Sudoku grid, a loop puzzle or a number-sum challenge. Compare the rules and check each game’s board sizes and date options.

Pick the puzzle that fits your break

A daily puzzle gives you a familiar set of rules to return to. Choose between placing numbers, tracing a loop or finding numbers that meet a target sum.

Start with a smaller board or an easier difficulty when offered. Number-placement puzzles reward checking rows, columns and boxes; loop puzzles ask you to reason about turns; sum puzzles ask you to satisfy row and column totals together.

Numbers or lines?

Number grids use selection and marking; loop puzzles use drawing and erasing. Check the guide for how to change an entry before committing to a move.

Return to a date

Look for a date selector when you want to revisit a puzzle. Check the displayed date before playing: changing it can restart the board and timer. Daily schedules and saved progress vary by game.

A few starting points

  • Daily Mini Sudoku

For a smaller Sudoku grid: begin with 6×6 and Easy. Learn how a first selection marks a candidate and a repeated selection confirms it.

  • Daily Masyu

For logic without arithmetic: draw one loop through black and white circles, following their different turning rules. Repeating a drawn segment erases it.

  • Daily Number Sums

For choosing numbers rather than filling empty cells: keep numbers that meet both row and column targets. A click cycles through kept, excluded and undecided states.
